Business School

The AACSB-accredited, top-tier Goizueta Business School began in 1919 as “one of the nation’s first business schools.” Students learn to rethink business and develop moral and ethical leadership skills through rigorous academia, dedicated faculty, small classes, and immersive learning experiences. Programs

Undergraduate students earn a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. They must obtain at least one Primary Area Depth in Accounting, Information Systems & Operations Management, Finance, Strategy & Management Consulting, or Marketing. Optional Secondary Area Depths include Business & Society, Analytical Consulting, International Business, Entrepreneurship, or Real Estate. Students can choose a concentration in Arts Management, Environmental Management, Business Across Disciplinary Boundaries, Health Innovation, or Film & Media Management.

Graduate studies include a One-year or Two-year Full-time MBA, an Evening MBA, or an Executive MBA that can be completed on-campus, online, or in a hybrid format. There are also Master’s in Analytical Finance and Business Analytics, along with a Ph.D. and Executive Education.

Online MBA Requirements

Through global classrooms, Emory has developed an innovative online experience. The nationally-ranked and reputable Executive Online MBA can be completed in just 18 months. Students have the option of strictly online courses or joining the on-campus students for occasional in-person sessions. The program required 27 core, six immersion, and 24 elective credits to equal 57 credits. Immersion experiences are executive skills workshops, international study trips, or a trip to Washington, DC.

Core courses include Global Business Practices, Data & Decision Analytics, Goizueta Plus, Financial Reporting & Analysis, Goizueta IMPACT, Marketing Management, Strategic Management, Managerial Economics, Organizational Behavior & Leadership, Managerial Finance, and Process & Systems Management.

This degree is customizable through many elective choices: program electives, Evening MBA and Full-Time MBA electives, and even electives offered at other professional schools. Specialization options are Strategy, Finance, Healthcare, Information Systems & Operations Management.

Application Requirements

Note that the Executive Online MBA is for mid-to senior-level professionals. It is wise to attend a Virtual Information Session before applying. Applicants must complete an online application and an Executive MBA application interview while submitting two letters of recommendation, a resume, transcripts, an application fee, and essays. A GMAT score is not required.
