Found in Terre Haute, Indiana, Indiana State University allows students to transform their lives and become career-ready through high-quality education, community engagement, and experiential learning. Business School

The commitment of the AACSB-accredited Scott College of Business is to provide pedagogical excellence in traditional and online instruction, educational and applied research, and service to the region. It began as a Commerce Department in 1918, became a School of Business in 1964, and then a College of Business in 2004. With over 25 programs throughout three departments, including bachelor’s and master’s degrees and minors, professional development activities, and hands-on learning opportunities, Scott CoB prepares graduates for leadership roles, global citizenship, and lifelong learning.

It has eight centers and institutes that serve the ISU community and Indiana’s local and regional communities. A few of the centers are the Meis Student Development Center, Minas Center for Investment & Financial Education, the Sales & Negotiations Center, and the Small Business Development Center.

Programs

Undergraduate majors are Business Administration, Business Education, Financial Services, Management, Marketing, Accounting, Business Education Information & Technology, Finance, Insurance & Risk Management, Management Information Systems, and Operations & Supply Chain Management. There are business minors in most areas of majors, plus Forensic Accounting, Sales & Negotiations, and Motorsports Management.

Graduate studies consist of several Master’s in Business Administration degrees. There is the traditional MBA with evening classes for full-time or part-time students. Also, Scott CoB offers an Online MBA and a Professional MBA (ProMBA).

Online MBA Requirements

ISU online MBA students receive a highly flexible, affordable, respected, and powerful degree in just one to two years. Through high-quality learning experiences, faculty who are dedicated, supportive, experienced, innovative, and cutting-edge technology, students gain a unique perspective and understanding of how to navigate and succeed in the global business world. There are 11 courses total, each class is eight weeks long, and each is fully asynchronous, offering the utmost flexibility in schedule.

Courses

The 11 required courses are Advanced Management Practices, Strategic Supply Chain & Operating Decisions, Quantitative Problem Solving, Strategic Marketing Management, Management Accounting, Global Business, Information Systems, Advanced Analytics, Managing the Strategic Workforce, Dynamic Strategy, and Strategic Financial Decisions.

Application Requirements

Applicants need to have an accredited bachelor’s degree and a minimum GMAT score of 500. There are GMAT waivers available for qualified applicants. You must submit an application, a professional resume, and official transcripts. Currently, the application fee is waived. The Admissions Committee will possibly request a personal statement, personal interview, or letters of reference from you. There is also the Conditional Admission option.
