Online MBA Requirements

MWSU’s online MBA is a flexible degree that accommodates the working professional. If completed full-time, it can be done in just one year. Students develop strong decision-making, analytical, and critical thinking skills throughout this applied academic educational program. It requires 30-credit hours involving seven core courses and three courses in a chosen concentration: General Business, Engineering Technology Management, and Forensic Accounting.

Courses

The required core courses are Organizational Theory, Applied Strategic Marketing, Supply Chain & Customer Relationship Management, Foundations of Finance & Accounting, Contemporary Issues in Management, Business Intelligence & Analytics, and Applied Strategic Management.

When students select the General Business Concentration, they complete nine hours of electives from any of the graduate-level course options. Those that choose the Engineering Technology Management Concentration will complete Advanced Engineering Technology, Project & Process Management, and Current Advancements in Engineering Technology. Students in the Forensic Accounting Concentration take Computer Forensics, Forensic Accounting, and Criminal Law, Evidence & Legal Procedures.

Application Requirements

Unconditional admission is available to students with an AACSB-accredited Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BSBA) degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Those with non-BSBA degrees or a business degree from a non-AACSB program will be accepted under conditional admittance, where they must receive a 3.0 GPA within the first nine MBA hours.

You must complete the Graduate School graduate application for admission and pay the application fee to complete the application process. MBA applicants are required to submit official transcripts. GMAT scores are considered but not required.
