Online MBA Requirements
Nicholls has developed an online MBA program that prepares graduates for success. The well-rounded curriculum promotes strong skill-building in written and oral communication, financially-savvy decision making, and ethical leadership. Those who can devote full-time attention to this program can be done in just one year. Others who need a part-time format can complete it in 18 months or more. Continuous enrollment is not required, providing the utmost flexibility if needed. Most coursework is asynchronous, on your own time, with a few possible synchronous components during the Monday-Thursday evening classes. Each course is an eight-week mini-term within the semester timeline.
Courses
There is no need to complete any extra foundational courses, as the foundation knowledge requirements are integrated into the online MBA coursework. There are 30-credit hours required involving ten courses. These courses are Quantitative Business Analysis & Decision Support, Performance & Planning, Market Analysis, Planning & Control, Value-Based Management, Leadership, Ethics & Accountability, Managerial Decision Support, The Economic Environment of Business, Managing Information Technology & Business Processes, Managing Human Capital, and Managing Strategic Resource for Competitive Advantage.
Application Requirements
First of all, applicants must have previously attended a regionally-accredited college/university and completed an undergraduate degree. Before you begin your application process, you should prepare for and take the GMAT or GRE. There is the option to request a test score waiver, in which you must include your current resume. Other than that, applicants complete the application form, pay the $20 application fee, and submit official transcripts.
