Business School

At the AACSB-accredited Willie A. Programs

Undergraduate students earn a Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Information Technology, Economics with optional Business and Law concentrations, Management with optional Business Administration, International Management, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship concentrations, Marketing with an optional Sales concentration, or Supply Chain Management. Undergraduate minors are in Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, and Supply Chain Management.

Graduate students have a Master of Accountancy, an in-class MBA, and an online MBA.

Online MBA Requirements

The 36-credit hour online MBA utilizes 24 core course credits and 12 elective credits. Online MBA students experience a student-centered environment where they are mentored by faculty who are committed to their success in class and their future professional careers. They are encouraged towards excellence in creative expression, scholarship, research, and community engagement through a collaborative community of learners. There is a great advantage to completing an MBA from a technological school; integrating skills and knowledge in today’s technology is essential in the business world.

Courses

Core courses are Managerial Accounting Decision-Making Concepts, Financial Management, Business Analytics, Operations Management, Strategic Marketing, Managerial Economics, Management & Organizational Behavior, and Corporate Strategy & Policy. Students will choose one of four areas of concentration in General Management, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, and Human Resource Management. Examples of required courses throughout the different concentrations include Advanced Income Tax Accounting, Advanced Auditing, Organizational Communication, Staffing Workforce Planning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Strategic Logistic Management, Supply Chain Systems Integration, and Global Supply Chain Design Management.

Application Requirements

A Bachelor’s from an accredited university is required, and applicants must complete and sign the Graduate College Application and pay the $60 non-refundable fee. Other submission requirements include two letters of recommendation, a current resume, a writing sample, and official transcripts. If you choose to submit GMAT/GRE scores, they will be considered, but if you have a GPA of 3.30 or higher, the GMAT/GRE requirement is waived.
