Online MBA Requirements
Business students pursuing an Online MBA will receive advanced education in leadership and business topics. The flexible course schedule is offered 100% online or with the option to combine online with some in-person courses. There is a 30-hour credit requirement that can be completed in one to two years, or students can add nine more hours of a concentration and complete the degree in two to three years. Areas of concentration include Accounting, Cybersecurity, Business Analytics, Marketing, Healthcare Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Technology Management, and Strategic Leadership.
Courses
Every online MBA student will complete ten core classes. These include Business & Society, Global Strategy, Accounting for Managers, The Effective Leader, Managerial Finance, Value-Based Marketing, Data Analysis for Decision Making, Managing Complex Organizations, Management of Operations, and The Capstone Experience.
Examples of courses within different concentrations are Intermediate Financial Accounting, Quantitative Methods, International Financial Markets, Data Protection, Process Mapping & Management, Digital Marketing, and Critical & Strategic Thinking.
Application Requirements
As you apply for this online MBA, know that the review process emphasizes experience and academic record. There is currently no GMAT or GRE requirement, but you must have a US bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2.0 GPA from a regionally accredited university. If you have completed any graduate-level coursework, you must hold a 3.0 GPA. There are also specific prerequisites for MBA and any concentration you choose to pursue.
