Students have many options, including an online MBA, offering over 130 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees through the College of Arts & Sciences and Schools of Business Administration, Engineering, Law, and Education & Health Sciences. The Higher Learning Commission accredits the university.

Business School

The AACSB-accredited School of Business Administration has cultivated an atmosphere of practical business education and experiential learning. Students can customize their education, learn through collaborative endeavors, and participate in internships, study abroad, co-ops, capstone projects, and service-learning. There are eight undergraduate degrees and four graduate degrees, with two of them also offered online, along with ten experiential learning centers and programs.

Programs

As an undergraduate, students pursue a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Business Economics, Management, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Entrepreneurship, Operations & Supply Management, Marketing, or Finance. Those who are unsure can take the Discover Business degree path. Graduate degrees include a Master’s in Business Administration, Finance, Business Analytics, or Professional Accountancy. There is also an online MBA, online Master’s in Business Analytics, and four graduate certificate programs.

Online MBA Requirements

There are three Online MBA tracks depending on your education and experience level. The One-Year MBA requires 30-31.5 credits, and the Accelerated MBA requires 31.5-39 credits and takes 15-18 months to complete. The third option is the Foundational MBA for those with a non-business bachelor’s degree and limited work experience. It takes 18-24 months to complete and requires 36-45 credits.

Online MBA students experience virtual live classes each week for face-to-face time with professors and classmates, interactive learning opportunities, recorded lectures, and online coursework accessible 24/7. There are at least two required in-person learning immersions, and students can choose to pursue a concentration in Marketing or Business Analytics.

Courses

If you are taking the Foundational MBA, you will need to complete all Foundational courses, covering topics like financial accounting, operations management, finance, economics, marketing, managerial accounting, statistical analysis, IT, and organizational behavior.

Every online MBA student will complete the core courses in Managerial Economics, Information Systems & Business Decisions, Business Analytics, Organizational Behavior, Performance Measurement & Control Systems Perspective, Corporate Finance, Operational Effectiveness, and Marketing Management.

There are 15 elective choices, including Negotiation, Principled Organization, Digital Marketing, Advanced Business Intelligence, and Project Management for Professionals.

Application Requirements

There are three application deadlines: early priority, priority, and final. You really should try to complete your application process by the early priority deadline. If you do, the $50 application fee is waived. Also, there is no GMAT or GRE requirement to apply. You will need to submit official transcripts, an online application, a fee, an essay and optional statement, a resume, and professional letters of recommendation.
