Online MBA Requirements

All core courses include two components: online lectures accessible to MBA students at any time and scheduled engagement activities students can participate in online or in person.

The core courses required for the Bloch online MBA include Financial Accounting for Decision Making, Supply Chain and Operations Management, Financial Management, and Strategic Management in the Globalized World. Other courses within the program include Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Entrepreneurial Experience, and Developing the Social Enterprise.

In addition to the program’s core degree requirements, four courses equaling twelve elective credit hours are part of the curriculum. Students can select the electives that match their career goals and ambitions. Electives are offered online and on-campus, with topics that suit various interest areas. Elective topics include Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Health Administration, Leading and Managing People, and International Business.

Admission Requirements

Online MBA students pursuing the business school’s program have solid preparation in business strategies and insights, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. These students can define, analyze, and evaluate decisions in many global business settings. Program designers understand that online MBA graduates are future and current business professionals, managers, and innovative leaders in an evolving world. GMAT waivers are available to qualified applicants with a minimum 3.0 GPA or at least two years of work experience. Applicants not meeting this criterion can apply for automatic admission with a 600 score on the GMAT.

Admission guidelines do not include submitting letters of recommendation as part of the application process. The business school will accept six credit hours applicable to an MBA program if completed with distinction from an AACSB-accredited program. All official transcripts must be submitted. Academic advisors approve all transfer credit during a student’s first semester. Candidates are considered for a GMAT/GRE waiver based on their prior academic performance and professional experience.
