“Blended” denotes flexible online courses that fuse the convenience of online classes with the networking capabilities of face-to-face interactions (in-person or virtual based on the students’ preference) to ensure a practical learning experience for MBA students. This format has enhanced graduate students’ skills for today’s rapidly evolving global economy.

Business School

The College of Business and Technology focuses primarily on experiential, hands-on learning. Business students gain knowledge in the classroom, online education, and experience in the field. CBT offers three divisions of expertise: Cyber Systems, Industrial Technology, and Business. Each division provides an opportunity for business students to experience a high-impact, high-touch, high-engagement mission, keeping them connected to the experiences and networks that lead to careers of their choice.

Online MBA Requirements

The AACSB accredited blended Online MBA program is 33 credit hours, with eighteen hours of core classes and fifteen hours of electives. Beyond the 33 credits, students must show undergraduate course completion in economics, statistics, accounting, and finance. The essential core courses are those that every MBA students progresses through. These classes make sure that every MBA students has the foundational knowledge that leaders need in today’s workforce. These courses include Managerial Accounting Systems, Leadership and Organizational Behavior, Financial Administration, Marketing Management Seminar, and Strategic Analysis and Decision Making.

Students select a track (emphasis) that includes the Professional Track, Accounting Track, Marketing Track, and Human Resources Track. The Professional, Human Resources, and Marketing tracks can be completed 100% online. The Accounting Track features one elective that requires class attendance.

Admission Requirements

Candidates may be considered for full unconditional admission if they meet specific requirements. To be considered for unconditional admission, a potential MBA student must hold a baccalaureate degree from an AACSB-accredited program with a GPA of 3.50 or higher. If this is the case, the GMAT/GRE requirement is waived.

A candidate with a bachelor’s degree with less than three years of full-time, post-baccalaureate professional work experience with an undergraduate GPA of 2.75 and a GMAT of 480 or equivalent GRE will also meet these requirements.

Potential MBA students with a bachelor’s degree, at least three years of post-baccalaureate work experience with meaningful managerial duties, and an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 will also be in good standing for admission into this program.
