Online MBA Requirements
All UNT MBA programs consist of twelve courses (36 credit hours). The 36-hour online MBA program features business courses in a flexible online format. All online courses are completed asynchronously and consist of eight-week sessions. MBA students can choose to go part-time by taking three to six hours per term or full-time with a nine-hour schedule. MBA students working full-time are advised to take six hours as part-time students, while working MBA students with part-time working responsibilities are advised to take nine hours as full-time students.
Distance learners can take up to twelve hours each semester and complete the program in fourteen months. Most part-time students complete the MBA in eighteen months to two years by taking two or three classes each term.
Application Requirements
Online MBA students can apply online. The application’s Statement of Purpose should include a summary of qualifications, unique events, and life experiences that applicants feel distinguish their candidacy. It should not exceed 600 to 700 words. A completed application packet includes a current resume and three letters of recommendation.
