All MBA students begin and end the program with a leadership residency on the Grounds of the Darden School in Charlottesville. Weekend residences are monthly. They take place in Darden’s state-of-the-art facility in Arlington, Virginia. Weekend students follow a Friday through Sunday schedule.
All students participate in distance learning in addition to the global residences. Online distance classes are held twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Classes are live synchronous sessions, and attendance is required. Recordings are available to online students who may miss class due to work conflicts.
Application Requirements
Future students interested in the online MBA should begin the process of getting accepted. Start by selecting a deadline on the program’s website. They then review the application and acquire their transcripts from previously attended colleges. Program candidates can then make placement test plans or submit their waivers. Once MBA students identify their recommenders, they get to work at responding to the short answer questions. Program candidates finish the application, pay an application fee, and take part in the interview.
