Online MBA Requirements

The business school’s online Master of Business Administration curriculum consists of thirty-three credit hours. Students can select their industry to ensure the skills and knowledge gained apply to today’s job responsibilities while preparing for excellent opportunities upon graduation. Students learn about profit planning, budgeting, and controlling aspects of business problem solving after completing the degree. This program covers the three areas of revenue and cost analysis, fundamental financial and managerial concepts, and revenue and cost accumulation techniques.

Online MBA students also learn the concepts of competition within business management policies and practices, multiple product policies, profit goals and measurement problems, and demand analysis. This program contains a portfolio project. There is also an advanced treatment of firms’ financing decisions, emphasizing current practice and theory.

Application Requirements

Qualified applicants have procured an undergraduate degree from an accredited college whose accrediting agency is on the list of UWF-approved accrediting entities. All official transcripts should be sent from a university directly to the Graduate School. They should bear an official seal and signature. Students who received their bachelor’s degree from UWF do not need to provide UWF transcripts. Candidates should have maintained a GPA of 3.0 or higher (or 2.75 with at least eight years of relevant work experience and high responsibility levels). A completed application also includes a copy of a professional résumé, master’s-level motivation, and writing abilities in essay responses within the application and business course academic preparation.
