Williamson Hall is Youngstown State’s newest and most technologically advanced academic facility. It is where business students’ academic and professional preparation begins. It is also the springboard for various professional and co-curricular activities. On-campus classroom experiences are enhanced by leadership organizations, employer events, and our extensive internship program. Williamson Hall houses the WCBA Conference Center, WCBA Student Services Center, team rooms, WCBA Career Management Center, computer labs, Financial Services Lab, faculty offices, 14 media-enhanced classrooms, and Communication and Professional Sales Lab.
Online MBA Requirements
The business school’s 100% online MBA features a professional focus. Enrolled students become better leaders, decision-makers, managers, and strategic thinkers. All virtual courses are offered in a concentrated format over seven weeks. Many MBA students complete the 30-credit-hour program in as little as fourteen to twenty-one months. Students can choose the online Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Digital Marketing, Health Care Management, and Leadership. YSU also offers dual specializations as a leadership specialization is included in every program’s curriculum. The coursework is designed to prepare distance learners for leadership and upper management positions. Other benefits include an accelerated seven-week format that helps students finish their degrees sooner, and MBA students can immediately apply what they learn in the workplace.
Application Requirements
Acceptance into the MBA program is based on a candidate’s professional work experience and undergraduate grade point average. Regular Admission applicants must meet one of the following criteria to waive the GMAT/GRE:
-Hold an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution—in STEM, business, or economics —with a 3.0+ GPA
-Hold an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution with a 2.7+ GPA and at least two years of full-time professional work experience.
Application materials include a chronological resume listing full-time professional/managerial work experience, official transcripts from all universities attended, official GMAT/GRE test scores, and a completed online application.
