Online MBA Requirements
The online MBA program follows a mini-mester system and accepts students five times each year with two fall entries, two in the spring, and one in the summer. International students wanting admission on F1 or J1 visas can apply for January, June, or August start dates.
All MBA specializations are available 100% online and on-campus in Warrensburg. Courses are offered in three formats: face-to-face in Warrensburg, online with asynchronous, no scheduled class sessions, and a hybrid format. MBA concentrations include Airport Management, Sports Business, Finance, General Business, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, Individualized/Interdisciplinary, Marketing, International Business, and Management & Organizational Leadership.
Admission Requirements
Qualified applicants for admission to an MBA program at UCM have a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale). All prerequisite degrees must be from accredited institutions recognized by the University of Central Missouri. Candidates with graduate coursework must have a graduate GPA of 3.0 or higher. Other requirements include letters of recommendation and a statements of purpose. The GMAT and GRE are not admissions requirements. MBA students must be prepared for the rigor of quantitative analysis (including economics, business math, statistics, accounting, and finance) to succeed in the program.
